I remember reading a story a while back about two idiots who decided to stick up a bar that turned out to be the unofficial off-duty cop bar for the town. There were like 30 cops inside in plain clothes. My favorite quote was one of the cops asked the guys (as 30 guns were drawn and pointed at them) "Which one of you geniuses is the brains behind this?"

Hah, was gonna say this. There must be a story like this in every city. The one I know about was in Vegas a few years back.

My favorite is still the guy who knocked himself cold trying to throw a brick through a plexiglass store front window. I think that one was actually caught on tape.
